System Report
Generates a System Report that inventories all software applications installed on the computer and highlights any changes since the last time the report was run. This test is available for all system types.
Antivirus information is not available on Windows Server systems.
What the report covers
- System Details — hardware and operating system configuration, including antivirus installed, time synchronization information, and information on users who are allowed to change date/time and time zones
- Software Applications — installed software including version, publisher, and date installed
- Updates — installed updates including type and date installed
- Summary of changes — highlights differences from the previous System Report execution
If a change was detected since the last report, a "Passed with additional information" icon appears next to the test result.
Warning messages are generated for critical or unexpected changes, for example:
- Antivirus is not up to date or not installed
- The Windows Users group can change date/time or time zone
- More than 24 hours have elapsed since time was last synchronized
