Test Services 3.5

Test Services 3.5 is compatible with OpenLab CDS 2.7 and its compatible storage systems. The notes below cover the entire 3.5 release line, including changes delivered in later OpenLab CDS 2.7 patch updates rather than only the first 3.5 build.

[3.5.0] - 2021-12​

Added​

  • Added the View Activity Log permission to the privileges required for the Security Test, the Storage System Test, and the Workflow Test.
  • Added the full user name and user ID to the activity-log and audit-trail verification.
  • Added a lockout-mechanism check to the password section of the Security Test.
  • Added the name of the user who aborted a run to the Summary report.

Changed​

  • Reorganized the home page so that tests that require a license are listed separately from tests that do not.
  • Changed the service startup type from Automatic to Automatic (Delayed Start), so the services start reliably after a restart.
  • Changed the Test Services address to support a reverse proxy on port 443: https://localhost/testservices/ on a server, AIC, Workstation, or Workstation Plus, and https://localhost:9092/testservices/ on a client.

Fixed​

  • Fixed a setup-failed test being omitted from the Summary report while the overall result still showed as passed. The test is now listed as Not available and the overall result is Failed.
