Test Services 3.4

Test Services 3.4 is compatible with OpenLab CDS 2.6 and its compatible storage systems. The notes below cover the entire 3.4 release line, including changes delivered in later OpenLab CDS 2.6 patch updates rather than only the first 3.4 build.

[3.4.0] - 2020-06​

Added​

  • Added an end date for a scheduled task, so a schedule can stop automatically.
  • Added a third schedule status, Expired, for a task that has passed its end date and is disabled.
  • Added immediate notifications on errors, on warnings, or on both, with a configurable limit on the number of immediate notifications sent.
  • Added support for clustered systems.

Changed​

  • Renamed the framework from QualA to Test Services. The license names for the licensed tests did not change, and basic use of the product is unchanged.
  • Changed Test Services to install by default with OpenLab CDS 2.6 and OpenLab Server / ECM XT 2.6, with the CDS plug-in included. A separate plug-in installation is no longer required. (Licenses are included with OpenLab CDS Workstation Plus; for other products they are purchased and installed separately.)
  • Changed web communication to use secure HTTPS by default.
  • Updated the Workflow Test to verify audit trails when a sequence has been edited.

Fixed​

  • Fixed a service crash during report generation on some OpenLab ECM AIC systems.
  • Fixed a missing product-detail line and a Terms of Service mismatch in the About dialog.
