Test result locations
Test Services stores the results and reports for each run in a dedicated project that it creates automatically. The storage path depends on the deployment type and storage backend. This page lists the result location for the Secure Storage and OpenLab ECM backends. On a Workstation that uses the local file system, results are saved to the local secured folder configured for OpenLab CDS rather than to a managed project. For the storage systems Test Services supports, see Storage backends.
How results are organized
Test Services creates a project named Test Services Project on the first test execution and stores results under a Test Services Results folder within it. Each folder inside Test Services Results holds the files for one test execution. If the project or its instrument is deleted or modified, Test Services recreates them on the next run.
Result locations by backend
The full path to the results folder differs by storage backend. In each case, the deepest folder, Test Services Results, contains one subfolder per execution.
Table: Test result locations by backend
| Backend | Results path |
|---|---|
| OpenLab Server and ECM XT | Content > Test Services Project > Test Services Results |
| OpenLab ECM 3.5 and 3.6 | Content > TS > TS > Test Services Project > Test Services Results |
On a system upgraded from a version earlier than 3.4, the previous result folders remain in place under their original names. Tests run after the upgrade are stored under the Test Services Project and Test Services Results folders.
